Our Duco coated cast iron Fixed Air Gaps are installed between a fixtures waste outlet and the facility’s drainage system to protect the fixture from contamination should the drainage system experience reverse pressure such as in flooding situations. Air Gaps may also be installed in a water supply to a fixture or appliance to prevent contamination from cross connection between the potable water supply and the fixture that handles a contaminating liquid.
