This Commercial Vortex Rainwater Filter is engineered for plum, above or below grade installation in roof drainage systems where multiple downspouts converge into a single vertical pipe which enters the filter housing. When properly installed it can remove debris from rainwater from roofs of up to 5,500 square feet, redirecting 90% of the clean water to above or below grade storage tanks. The stored, filtered rainwater can be used for toilet and urinal flushing, janitorial use, site irrigation and other non-potable uses. This kit includes a stainless steel 280 micron fine mesh filter, its polyethylene housing, lid and Upper Ring. A stainless steel handle lifts the filter to facilitate cleaning.
